From 1980 to 1999, I traveled across Europe, photographing the cityscapes and fleeting moments I encountered. These images have now been brought together in my new photobook, Places and Memories. This publication also includes, for the first time, a selection of previously unpublished photographs taken during my years (1979-1985) as a student in Germany.

I hope this photo book will serve as a record of the beginnings of my photographic journey, offering readers a glimpse into my early body of work.

The book was designed by my longtime friend Peter Nils Dorén, whom I first met during my student years in Germany. His thoughtful perspective and our enduring friendship have made this publication especially meaningful to me.
