Olaf Unverzart shows us the Alps in calm, insistent pictures. We see wide landscapes, vegetations and primarily streets, alleys, aisles, which people have installed in the mountains. Also the force of nature of avalanches and mudflows, which inexorably blaze trails, play a role.

People are not visible, but their traces are. Precisely observed traffic situations, accidents, micro-architecture, signs, inscriptions and further details announce the not really uncomplicated relationship between people and mountains without telling the whole story.

Therefore the pondering goes far beyond the image border. Very powerful.
