Atget, André Kertész, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Willy Ronis, Robert Doisneau - thousands of photographers and amateurs already have made their images of Paris, which might be the most photographed city in the world.

Much to our enjoyment this did not stop German photographer Justin Winz to venture out for the subject again. The result is a fascinating journey through a never seen Paris with lots of unexpected discoveries.

With few pages Winz leads us through the streets of the northern arrondissements of Paris. We see the roofs of houses, an entrance of a metro station, the grave of Jim Morrison or children playing in the Parc de Belleville. The glimpses show the contemporary city life but also in their specific aesthetics of Polaroid chemistry and computer technology they seem to be from long gone time ...

An ideal book for city strollers and old romantics.
