R. Rakauskas and A. Sutkus belong to the same generation of photographers and they have embarked on the career of photographer while still studying at Vilnius University.
In a comparatively short space of time both photographers earned universal recognition for the realist character of their creation, for the capacity of insight and for the faculty of perceiving the significant moments of life. They have taken part at numerous national, all-Union and international picture shows and have won many diplomas and medals.
