The book tells a complicated story of interactions between the cultures, transformations in the ways of life driven by global processes, relationship with nature and environment, inner belonging and the quest for identity. The sequences of portraits, details of interior, landscapes in the changing seasons capture the atmosphere of one moment in time on the North Line, providing at the same time a unique ethnographic document of life in the region.
