Horatiu Sava was born in Transylvania and grew up there. Now he returns to the places of his childhood. Through his landscape and village photographs, he looks for a manifestation of his memories. His images of the cities, embossed by buildings made with precast concrete slabs, stand in contrast to these. He says: "My photographs taken at these districts....display my astonishment about the change during the last twenty capitalist years."
