Knight Move is my first attempt at creating a calendar.
I was inspired by the photograph you see on the cover. Ever since I found it, the phrase "Knight Move" has been stuck in my head. And then I realized that 2026 is the Year of the Horse. Plus, the theme of chess has been very close to my heart lately.

There are many reasons for the strangeness of the knight's move, the main one being the conventionality of art... The second reason lies in the fact that the knight is not free -- it moves in an L-shaped manner because it is forbidden to take the straight road.
- V. Shklovsky "Knight's Move"

This quote from V. Shklovsky's essay helped me choose four photographs from my archive for each month. One photo with a horse and 3 more because the horse always moves 3 spaces (2+1).
12 months - 12 envelopes. Each time you open an envelope, you interact with new photos. The cards can be displayed on a wall or table, creating an exhibition that you curate.
The backs of the photos can be used for a variety of purposes, such as taking notes. Or you can use these envelopes to write letters to your friends.

Total included:
- 12 envelopes
- 12 pages with dates for each month
- 48 pictures printed on various paper
- postcard with a quote
- come with a box so you can store it.
+ my warmest wishes for the New Year

The print run is limited to 30 copies.
