On the pages of Floating, Thomas Boivin turns the Parisian Buttes-Chaumont park into a labyrinth peopled by enigmatic figures.
Following the flowing waters beneath a dark vegetation, stopping by sudden drops, the photographer ventures in the hidden corners of an ethereal place far away from reality.
Thomas Boivin enchants the Eclisse #9 with a dream which mistery is concealed somewhere inbetween the park’s imagined geography and the Floating’s fold-out pages.
“After years of experimenting drawings & experimental comics, I turned myself to photography – and my attention from inside to outside, still more attached to books and narrative sequences then single images; trying to find echoes of my personal feelings in the world around by walking everyday, for hours, with a camera.” Thomas Boivin
