Julia Gaisbacher's long-term project focuses on the Austrian architect Eilfried Huth and one of Austria's first publicly funded participatory social housing projects from the 1970s. Some 50 years later, she began an artistic research project in which she interviewed residents about their experiences of the participatory planning process and its impact on the long-term quality of life in these built environments, combining this with archive material. At the same time, she documented the unique facades of the houses, each representing its owner.
