Each of the portraits photographed by Ahmet Sel reveals the hidden side of Moscow, the inner life of its interiors. The other side of the Moscow window. So many "homes". A nest of sensitive information, yet without indiscretion, slow photos where the eye wanders for a long time, telling stories, a rare pleasure that master paintings give us. Finally, all these portraits together form one last one: a self-portrait of course, not of the photographer himself, but of his reflection. What his life in Moscow, over the years, has left in him, like those old wines which, as they mature, leave behind a residue. That is also what this album is about. The slow panorama of a last, moved and determined look, the one you take one last time, before closing the door forever, on a beloved room.
