Hun-Tun [Chaos] questions the artist's physical, cerebral and temporal relationship with landscapes. The large black and white photographs and polyptychs give the sensation of a fluent mental sculpture. The manual superposition of the shots relies on the walker's motor skills facing the space invested. The resulting photographic capture simultaneously captures the human time scale and the geological time scale. The solid or fluctuating sensation of the territories surveyed by the photographer tends to designate the field of investigation as a permanent space of change. With this book, Fage éditions continues its editorial work initiated with Éric Bourret by the publication of Montagne au carré (Varia collection, 2004), published in co-edition with the Departmental Museum of Gap.
