The rock of the black desert (as-Sahra as-sauda) consists of approximately 70 to 30 million years old basalt of volcanic origin. An infinite number of these dark, partly reddish-colored, sometimes shiny stones form the picture of this landscape, its magic and its specific aura. The views of 9 stones transform this experience as reality beyond usual representation systems. The images follow a structural rhythm to the limit of visibility.
