A large retrospective exhibition of his images from the 1950s was inaugurated in Rome in December 2015 and is currently traveling around Italy. Passeggiata Napoletana presents the photographs taken by Zavattini in two days in the city, in October 1957, revealing his extraordinary qualities as a street photographer.

He participated, as a photographer, in the first expedition of the ethnologist Ernesto de Martino in Lucania, in 1952. Arturo is the curator of the Cesare Zavattini Archive.
