Even for Viennese inhabitants the name "Kreta" is only an island in Greece. Infact it is also the name of a quarter close to the new main station in Vienna and to a new cultural hotspot which is located at the old former part of the Anker bread factory called "Brotfabrik Wien". "Kreta" is a very multicultural area and very inspiring for photographers. So it was for the 13 photographers of the AnzenbergerMasterclass. They have photographed the people and life during the 10 month program, and even started a collective named "Kreta Kollektiv". Photographs by Sonja Bachmayer, Simon Brugner, Thomas Bundschuh, Marco Frauchiger, Georg Herder, Karl Hoedl, Maren Jeleff, Christian Kosfeld, Alexander Krischner, Karola Riegler, Michael Weingärtler, Christian Wind, Georg Zinsler.
