Laurent Barrera considers each of his images as photographic haikus. Dense and chiseled creations which, by their form, invite poetry. This book is a proposal for a photographic and dreamlike journey through the seasons in the world of Japanese "koï" carp. The short French poems by Mèlanie Bosc enrich this graphic universe and the calligraphy by Keiko Yokoyama reinforces the Japanese aesthetic that accompanies the work from the choice of paper to the editing of the photographs.
