Instants and travel notes is a walk around the world. Black and white gives the images the appearance of velvet: lights, shadows and contrasts alternate and overlap in the streets of Chaouen, in the gaze of an old Sherpa woman, in the amazing geological forms of Cappadocia, or in a beautiful sculpture of Buddha in Thailand. This is a testimony, through images and words, that the world is, above all, a beautiful and diverse place. A book that awakens an irrepressible desire to pack and take a long journey.

Moments and Travel Notes is a walk around the world through the photographs of Jaume Balanyà and the notes of Marga Font. The two have shared some trips, but above all they share the same passion: to travel the length and breadth of this planet.

Jaume Balanyà (Barcelona, 1949), as a child spent hours in the camera obscura where his father revealed black and white photographs, fascinated with the contemplation of the mystery of the appearance of the images. He is professionally dedicated to photography, and is a regular contributor to numerous travel magazines. An unrepentant traveler, with his camera on his back, he captures the places and moments lived. And when he returns to his laboratory, he continues to get excited before the developer's cuvette, like when he was a child.

Marga Font (Cornellà de Llobregat, 1968) is a journalist and has collaborated for years with various magazines, publications and editorials. It has traveled much of Latin America and the Caribbean, and its preferred destinations are always located in the south. She currently lives on the island of Mallorca.

This book testifies, through images and words, that the world is, above all, a beautiful place.
