Kreta 3 is a common documentary project about the 10th district in Vienna by the AnzenbergerMasterclass 2016/2017. When in 2014 the AnzenbergerMasterclass was founded, the participants did not only work on their individual project but also about a common theme on the so called 'Kreta' quarter close to the former Anker bread factory. The name 'Kreta' was also kept for the following publications of the next years' AnzenbergerMasterclasses, the photographed area have been expanded each year. The people in this district come from many different cultures and almost half of them are foreigners. In 2014 the new main station was built here and in the neighbourhood there is a whole new quarter called 'Sonnwendviertel'. But the photographers look also from outside to inside, from the wilderness to the new architecture.
